It was a lovely day here! Still grey but not too cold (stayed around 12-14C) and I noticed all the trees and flowers are budding up nicely! I'm so looking forward to the explosion of beauty that is May here ♥
Pedro came by at noon and I made us a meatloaf and garlic mashed potato lunch (it went with the weather?) and we had a really nice visit and watched some Mission Hill (a cartoon from 1999) which is still so funny and stands the test of time. (I LOVE Posey!) I made a bigger meatloaf and had that for dinner again with Scott when he got home (with just a salad and a tiny piece of meat for me, that time) and now we're just chilling out... We're so tired! 8PM feels like 11 now, it's so strange. I keep thinking it's almost midnight and it's never even 9 *LOL*. Pathetic. I was a lifelong night owl...but I feel better/healthier this way and I'm going to keep it up (Sooki/Sooki's schedule helps a lot). It's still so weird, though!

Tomorrow night Scott is having a work buddy over so I'll be making dinner for ~two men~ ! It's gonna be a feast, there will be pics. ;)
Almost time to start my nightly routine! I don't follow a specific set of rules but I've got a few things I do to get me in the mindset for sleep and it's been helping a lot. (Just being mindful of how important sleep is has helped...did some research and freaked myself right out. o_O)
Do you have a nightly thing you do?
Mine is (usually starts around 9PM):
- Spiff up kitchen + make my coffee and set it to brew in the morn
- Walk Sooki
- Quick, warm shower
- Stretch for 10 mins
- Put on face cream and read in bed for 30mins-1 hr (if I'm not already too tired)
