New tapestry for the dining area! We have The Star one in the living room (all one open area) and now I'm thinking of getting a third one for behind the big couch.
Can't believe it's Sunday already o_O I've got to catch up on the housework and unpack two boxes today (I'm in a box challenge with a dear friend here! I know I waited to the last day but I haven't given up heh) and then I'm planning an easy dinner and a cozy night of reading. I'm reading James Baldwin (Nobody Knows My Name) for the first time and I'm just...blown away. His writing is elegant yet raw; how is that possible? He makes you feel like an active participant, like this is somehow your memory, too (he is covering some events from 1956 right now and I can picture it all so clearly... I was born in '85. The man had a gift). He is without a doubt, the definition of essential reading, and although I was inspired by Black History Month I can't stress enough how important this book (and writer) is for all people. I haven't felt this way (like a light has been turned on inside) since I first heard Bob Marley's beautiful words and music when I was a young teen.
I wish you all a lovely day. :)
