Felt like I was no longer pushing myself hard enough to do good things for myself/my health, so five days ago I quit coffee! I'm not cutting caffeine right out--just coffee. Instead of three strong coffees I'm now having one cup of orange pekoe in the morning (no sugar, splash of milk) and I'm already seeing really noticeable improvements in my skin--especially my face. I've been a super mega water drinker (no pop, no juice) since my early twenties so I didn't think I could be as dehydrated as I was...but, I was! The difference is speaking for itself.
I started drinking 2-10 coffees a day around age fourteen, so that's a two decade + habit I am grateful to say goodbye to. Don't need it. My nervous system and brain are thanking me nonstop and I'm sleeping wonderfully. My teeth even look whiter already, too? It's amazing.
