Anyway, inspired by lindahoyland, I actually took photos while there this time. :)
At first he was scared and clung to 'Dad' for help <3
This one (down) is my favourite *LOL*
That one's good, too!
"Can we go now??"
Heh! Great news--his health is very good, all things considered. :)
He just turned 3 and his heart murmur condition hasn't worsened since we got him (he was just WEEKS old omg so tiny...) so, YAY!! But, we are now on hyper-alert watching for cardiomyopathy. I had her break it all down until I understood it, and basically what this means is his heart walls could weaken/start failing at any time, and there won't really be "rhyme or reason to it", it's just his underlying heart condition that he was born with (he was found at just a few weeks old and brought to the Humane Society)--so we just have to keep checking him, and hoping for the best. I did have her give me a list of things I could watch for, though:
- Blood clots. I'll know because one of his legs won't be working right :(
- That his eyes are sparkly and clear
- Energy levels
- Appetite and box habits
- Listen to the sounds he makes (does his purr sound off? 'Broken'? We take him right in if that happens)
But even with that stuff, she still gave him a gold star for today :) and reminded me that it's very likely he'll live a long, healthy life, too, so I'm not all worked up or anything <3 this is just part of the deal with loving Titus.
So he's all up-to-date on shots and vaccines and doesn't need to go back in until October!
